With expansive common space and a large kitchen, Hawk Hill cabin is great for large retreats or multi-family getaways. The large eastern windows invite a beautiful sunrise into the cabin, with a sun room, dining area, and bar available for meals. The large kitchen has almost everything you would need for dining in, including 2 refrigerators and all necessary appliances. A beautiful wood pellet stove, central heating, and multiple radiant wall fireplaces will ensure everyone is comfortable.
The large front porch has built-in benches, a porch swing, and chairs, big enough for groups to congregate or to eat a meal. Plan to spend time at the outdoor firepit, situated at the highest point on the property, overlooking beautiful Orange County.

-Three bedrooms. 1st room has a King bed, 2nd room has a Queen bed. 3rd room has a Full size bed.
-Two Full size air mattress are available for the upstairs living room, and two comfortable couches may be used for additional sleeping space.
-A complete gym is available in the garage, accessible from cabin’s main hallway.
-Laundry room available for parties staying 3 nights or more.
-65 inch television
-11.5 ft movie screen, projector and surround sound for movie nights, viewable from BOTH levels of cabin.
-Upstairs living room and open areas are set up for party games, reading, or additional seating.
-Pets are allowable upon further discussion with property owner. Multiple crates are available for dogs to sleep. Permission will only be granted if animals enjoy crates and will not be roaming freely around cabin.
You can’t beat the location, with Walmart and other essential services within 2 miles. Paoli Peaks, French Lick, and West Baden are just a short drive away, and the home is centrally located for longer drives. 40 minutes to Bloomington, 35 minutes to Patoka Lake Marina, 28 minutes to Bedford, and 28 minutes to Salem.
The entire cabin is available to you, with the property owner (sometimes) residing in the detached barn/garage a short distance away.
Other things of note:
The open-concept staircase has a railing on one side, but nothing to hold onto on the other side. Please be aware of this and communicate with your group to ALWAYS use the railing. This is listed several spots in the cabin info, so I appreciate you reading it again. Better safe than sorry! Thank you!
Also, two young, clean dogs reside at the house part time while guests are not there.

Almost all guests have attested to the fact that the home has little evidence of dogs or previous guests.
Some people may also experience sinus irritation from the wood pellet stove, as it blows a minimal amount of dust particles.
