Ingredients:
4-5 large yellow onions
2-3 sprigs of time
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons of butter
Olive oil
1/4 to 1/2 cup of Brandy (can be substituted for dry white wine, sherry or red wine)
4 cups of beef stock
2 tablespoons of flour
french baguette
flake salt (optional for toast)
