Hi everyone and welcome to life in France vs UK where in today’s video I discuss the differences between restaurants in France vs Restaurants in the UK as part of my life in France.

My life in France started in 2006 once my French house purchase completed and I have been enjoying living in France ever since.

I met Naomi at the end of 2011 and our first date was in Paris where we spent 4 nights enjoying the French capital and having lunch and dinners in French restaurants and Bistros.

Naomi relocated from the UK and began her life in France at the end of November 2012 – 8 years later we are enjoying our French life together as a family.

Life in France can be very different from life in the UK and one of the main differences for me is time – things do go at a slower pace in France and it’s a major reason I choose to start a life in France.

One of the biggest differences between French restaurants and restaurants in the UK is how time is utilized in France vs the UK.

To tip or not to tip in French restaurants that is the question.
