In the 18th Century, two French artists were commissioned to paint, by hand, the lavish State Dining Room, remodeled by the 5th Duke of Argyll. This clip is from the first episode of my TV series, ‘An American Aristocrat’s Guide to Great Estates’, which aired on Smithsonian Channel.
