“From Osoyoos’ Border Vista Vineyard, as the name suggests, this savvy had 4 hours skin contact in the press before fermentation, half in stainless, 40 percent in foudre, and 10 percent in concrete. It remained four months on the lees before bottling. Green-edged, with cut hedge, gooseberry, underripe guava and crunchy green apple acidity buffered by the aforementioned lees pad, this runs long on the palate with streaks of lemon peel to a snappy finish. Quite serious, while remaining highly savvy, try this with pan-roasted lingcod.” – gismondionwine.com.
