SUPER EASY SKILLET FRENCH TOAST BEGINNER FRIENDLY

INGREDIENTS

**. THIS RECIPE WILL BE ENOUGH FOR AT LEAST 6 TO 8 PIECES OF BREAD **

1. A SKILLET
2. A BOWL
3. 1 EGG
4. BREAD ( WHITE , WHEAT , RAISIN OR ANY BREAD OF YOUR CHOICE WILL WORK IN THIS RECIPE)
5. 1 CUP OF MILK ( HALF & HALF, ALMOND MILK, ANY MILK OF YOUR CHOICE CAN WORK )
6. PINCH OF GROUND NUTMEG
7. 1/2 TEASPOON OF GROUND CINNAMON
8. 1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT
9. 1 TEASPOON OF BUTTER EXTRACT ( OPTIONAL )
10. BUTTER – 1 TO 4 TEASPOONS OR AN NEEDED
11. 1 TEASPOON OF CINNAMON SUGAR
12. SYRUP , WHIP CREAM, COOL WHIP , CONFECTIONER’S SUGAR CAN BE USED AS A TOPPING
13. MCCORMICK GOOD MORNING BREAKFAST SEASONING BROWN SUGAR VANILLA (OPTIONAL )

INSTRUCTIONS

1. USING A BOWL , ADD 1 CUP OF MILK , 1 EGG, 1 PINCH OF NUTMEG, 1 TEASPOON OF VANILLA EXTRACT , 1 TEASPOON OF BUTTER EXTRACT ( OPTIONAL ) , 1/2 TEASPOON OF GROUND CINNAMON , 1 TEASPOON OF CINNAMON SUGAR

MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED – SET ASIDE

2. USING A SKILLET ON MEDIUM TO MEDIUM HIGH HEAT : ADD 1 TO 2 TEASPOONS OF THE BUTTER TO THE SKILLET. ALLOW THE BUTTER TO MELT.

3. WHILE THE BUTTER IS HEATING UP . GIVE THE CINNAMON VANILLA MILK MIXTURE A QUICK STIR.

4. ADD THE BREAD SLICE TO THE BOWL & COVER ONE SIDE WITH THE MIXTURE.
5. QUICKLY TURN THE BREAD SLICE OVER & COVER WITH THE MIXTURE .

** DO NOT SOAK THE BREAD IN THE MIXTURE OR YOUR FRENCH TOAST WILL BE VERY SOGGY**

6. ALLOW THE EXCESS MIXTURE TO DRAIN INTO THE BOWL. THEN ADD THE BREAD SLICES TO THE SKILLET.

7.COOK THE FRENCH TOAST UNTIL IT IS BROWNED & CRISPY . OR TO YOUR LIKING. MAKE SURE THAT THERE ARE NO SOGGY PARTS ON THE FRENCH TOAST.

8. TURN THE TOAST OVER & CONTINUE TO COOK UNTIL THE TOAST APPEARS BROWNED .

** YOU MAY HAVE TO FLIP THE TOAST SEVERAL TIMES IN THE SKILLET SO DON’T BE ALARMED **

9. WHEN THE FRENCH TOAST IS DONE , PLACE ON A PLATTER OR IN A LOW OVEN UNTIL ALL THE SLICES HAVE BEEN COOKED.
10. WHEN DONE , ADD THE BUTTER , WARM SYRUP & THE BROWN SUGAR VANILLA SEASONINGS.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD YOUR FAVORITE TOPPINGS. FRUIT, WHIP CREAM , CONFECTIONER’S SUGAR ETC.
