Meatballs (amount per pound):
1 lb ground beef, 90% lean 10% fat
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
2 Tbsp milk
2 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp dried basil
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
Sauce:
2 10.5 oz cans cream of mushroom soup
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 packet dried onion soup mix
3/4 cup water or 1 cup, if no wine
1/4 cup white or red wine (optional)
8 oz white mushrooms, sliced
