I’m thinking about painting the tile surround on my fireplace as I’m planning to try to sell my house soon. Do you have any suggestions for colors? The house is a 1960s red brick Ranch with some modern color updates. The inside of the fireplace is going to be painted black.

Totally agree on painting the firebox black, looks sharp. I mocked up a deep, earthy green-blue for the tile, which fits those 60s vibes but with a modern twist. Hope this helps with inspiration for the sale!
