Just got our most recent wine club shipment from one of our fav Napa vineyards. Got a few bottles of the new Reserve Pinot. Very nicely done. Pardon my wife’s Zwiesel glass, she breaks a Grassl every time she touches one 😉
Starts out with a strong fruit smell. Cherry dominates. Very smooth mouth feel, fruity on the front end and a little vanilla, earthy on the backend. You get a hint of spice/earthiness or maybe it’s acid but nice and subtle. Not overpowering at all. Very California pinotish.
We love this place! Such a great visit if you are ever in the area. The winemakers are so friendly and amazing people.
