How can I style the rest of this niche/mantle? The arrangement is very large so I don’t want it to get over crowded but I think it needs a little something else? My color palette is deep browns, rusty browns, and beige. Accent color is like a rose taupe / light maroon.

I’d either do a fun statement wallpaper inside of it (all sides), or, put an ornamental frame around the opening, so it looks like a painting!
Don’t do anything! You are highlighting the arrangement by giving it space to breathe. You could add 3 tiered candles on one side and 2 on the other. Don’t junk it up.
