Looking for ideas for decorating my porch. I plan on adding a scalloped woven rug under the doormat.
And long term projects are going to be replacing the metal railing with a wooden one and painting all the white trim a lighter shade of pink that the door is.
I’m on the fence about adding chairs because I’m not sure how much they would be used. I was thinking some sort of window hangings because we have three big windows along the side. The curtains for those windows, that are too hard to see, are marigold to match our sunroom.
I love maximalism and we live in zone 9b so can have a wide variety of plants but I’m not sure what would look cohesive. The porch gets morning sun.
I was also thinking about hanging Vietnamese silk lanterns but am unsure if that would look tacky or not weather well.

I honestly don’t think it needs much because it’s so visually interesting on its own. The hanging plants right now throw it off a bit, but I think a fresh coat of paint as you said and maybe a cool bench and some plants
