How much money do you have to spend? If I had a lot I’d get raised beds and grow pollinator plants that attract butterflies, then put in cafe chairs and a little table!

Look into fishnet screens! I have some stapled to the top of the ceiling and draped down over bamboo fencing to make a catio.
The fishnet doesn’t completely eradicate the bugs, but it helps SO much.
Bamboo screen offers a ton of privacy, but from my living room, I can still see the pond down the way.
