I was gifted this bottle during a winery visit back in 2020. I was there with coworkers from a steakhouse, some of them were studying to become sommeliers, so they had plenty to dive into during the tour. I ended up being the only one who didn’t buy anything, and the winery kindly gifted me this bottle. I’ve kept it in a wine cooler ever since and honestly forgot about it for a while. I originally planned to open it after finishing grad school, but let’s be real, when is the “right” time to enjoy something like this with others? I no longer work in the food and wine industry and didn’t stay in it for long, but I still want to make sure I can appreciate it properly.
