Hi everyone! I recently moved into a house with a nice patio. I wanted to get patio furniture kiiinda on a budget. I was online and came across a website "www.cortahaus.com" and found a chair outdoors i liked for $79.99 when its originally $180. I ordered it, and paid via paypal. It goes through the Shop app so i felt secured. Well it's been since April 4th and there's no shipping tracker, no estimated delivery time, nothing. I emailed support this past friday and heard nothing.
I go back to the website and they're now offering that same chair for $79.99 (which is what i paid) and saying "Order by 9 PM and your order ships today!" like ?????? There's pictures of people having this chair in their space on their patios and decorated and stuff. They have been radio silent and now i'm wondering if I got scammed. Anyone ever use this website for furniture?

I’m guessing that it comes from overseas and it could take a couple of weeks, but if you don’t hear anything back from them, I would send another message to let them know that if you don’t get any information or tracking, then you’re gonna have no other option but to dispute the charge. A lot of places do that “ship same day”, even though they know it’s gonna take 6 to 8 weeks to get to you.
That website screams scam/fake, 100%.
It’s a Shopify site, meaning anyone can launch something like this. The domain name was only registered two weeks ago. The “customer” photos are fake.
How did you first come across it?
Dispute the charge now, don’t wait.
Definitely a scam! Do not wait, do a charge back.
They have these exact chairs on Wayfair and they at least are known and do returns. Why not check there?
