Clearly I like complex, bold, and dry. These have been next on my list to open, but I can’t decide which one deserves the occasion first. The Sassicaia 2003 is what I’m thinking because of its age. This is my last bottle of Scarecrow, so that one feels like it needs the right moment too. What would you open and why?

Probably same. Old to young. All need a lot of airtime

My heart says the St. Emelion on the far left (not bank lolll) but logically prob the 03 like you said. Whats the occasion?

I’ve had a fair bit of 2002 Sassicaia and would vote that first as it won’t improve dramatically from here and will (in my opinion) become more integrated and less complex in another ten years.

I’d open the Sassicaia the rest could use more time.

  5. That Figeac will last another three decades.
