Converting a bedroom into en-suite bathroom. We’ll have black vanities, marble effect shower tile and bathtub surround, and thin pinstripe wallpaper.
Any ideas for floor tile so it’s not overwhelming? We want to stick with black and ivory and marble theme.

It is your home and you should do what you think looks best.
If you are open to suggestions, I’d pause on tile selection until the wallpaper has been discussed. All of this tile work and the wainscoting that you’ll be spending so much money on and that wallpaper was the first thing that caught my eye in this photo. The high contrast stripes and the busy pattern were a bit of an eye sore. Whether it stays or goes would heavily influence any tile selection I’d make in this bathroom.
Can’t go wrong with black and white/ivory checkered floor IMHO.
What era is your home from? I would choose something that evokes the time it was built maybe.
