Fix it, please! All of our furniture is old and outdated, but we have dogs and little kids so I don’t want to spend much… also, we don’t have the means to spend much. I know the built ins are a bonus but I have no idea how to use them appropriately. This room is also very long, in taking the picture from near our front door, that white expanse on the left continues to an arch into our kitchen. Love boho, natural aesthetic, moody colors. Not afraid to go bold or subtle, just not someone who can “see” decor.
Kitchen wall is “vine leaf” by Behr and can be seen from where I’m standing to take the pic.

I would remove the scalloped trim on the built-ins, the deer head, and get longer curtains to start. Can you attach more pictures to see the furnishings better? Is all of the current furniture staying?
