Wallpaper!!!! Then replace the small mirrors with tall mirrors like these gorgeous ones from Ballard Designs. A beautiful double head sconce in the middle. Use “retique it” on the cabinet and then stain it a dark brown color and add traditional chrome hardware and faucet to match the light fixture. If possible adding a glam chandelier would also make a huge difference and add a bit more of light and sparkle :). For the rest of the bathroom area do wainscoting/paneling bottom half and continue the same wallpaper throughout. The lighting also feels very cold. Try to stay under 3000k. A nice cream patterned rug to brighten the floors. Last but not least add floor to ceiling pinch pleated shower curtains!!!!
