The walls, floors, windows, etc are essentially what the rooms look like. The furniture is half stuff we already own, half not. I hate the gray and would like to paint, but it’s tricky because the floors are two different colors (they covered the original hardwood in the dining room), and the rooms are right next to each other. Should I paint the two rooms the same color? Is it all too the same tone? Would love some feedback!

If you don’t do anything else, please, just promise you’ll paint the walls any color but grey.
