We’ve just moved in and I love so many different styles but would love to go more japandi if possible, I want to add some colour too or paint a bit more, what do you think would make this look better?
The upper story walls may look really nice with a wall mural/wallpaper in a Japanese color scheme you find relaxing. Doing something large like that can create the focal point and color scheme of the rest of the adjoining spaces.

Something to fill the space while still staying calm and not too bold.
Upwards facing lights and some regal looking drapery so you look powerful while you address your guests from up there
