Should i just paint the tile or redo entirely i dont wanna spend too much $$ I need ideas! We also gonna paint the rest of the room. Not settled on this yellow or whatever color the wall is. Moved in 6 mo ago
I wouldn’t redo the tile. Just paint the walls anything but yellow 😉 I’d put taller vases or artwork on the ledges on either side of the pipe to balance it out.

It depends on what your style is and how much you use the wood burning stove. They are great if you use them, but other styles of fireplaces are more appealing design-wise. You might consider closing it in with a hearth type structure (brick or rock). This will be easier to style and you can still have a mantel.
