Hello everyone, I hope this is the right sub. I have a series of 3 metal wall arts, and am really thinking they could go good in my stairwell. I’ve landed on this, but it just doesn’t look right to me, and I can’t figure out why. Any ideas? TYSM

  1. The lights are too cool. Maybe warmer lighting would help?

Warmer light and also they are so small. Are you able to frame them with mattes? Then space them a little more evenly on the stairs.

I would move them to that wall facing you !! And get bigger pieces for other side . I think changing the lighting would help massively with this space as it’s feeling very cold

They almost look as if they’re hanging at the wrong angle or something. EDIT: Especially with the lights on. Too high, too small, too far apart.

Plus the lights kinda prevent you from seeing the art. They’re so bright they glare over it so to speak.

Wall facing right in front as you walk down the stairs I mean

balance it off with images on the other wall?

They’re too small for that space. They could work as a collection, but on their own, they get lost in the space.
