wait you already have a tree there, are you talking about behind it? floor lamp would be good but maybe put it on other side of couch instead. that corner behind the plant might look crowded if you add more stuff
i did something similar in my setup and ended up moving the lamp because it made everything feel too busy. you could try a tall narrow bookshelf or maybe some wall art above where the plant is now. the room has nice clean vibes already so don’t overthink it too much. sometimes less is more especially with that neutral color scheme you got going
