I live in a little beach house and I'm thinking about putting curtains up. When I moved in there were these ugly boxes above the windows covered in wallpaper, I took them down and never dud anything else. I'd like to put up curtains after I get my new furniture but not sure where to place the rods. Also should my curtains go to the floor or just below the window? Sorry for bad pic.

If it’s curtains it should just touch the floor in terms of length. Since one window is on a vaulted wall, I would hang the curtains half the distance to the ceiling on the shorter (left) side of the window. I cannot tell from the picture if the window to the left has the ceiling height to match. It somewhat seems as if it would.
Curtains should always just kiss the floor Rods should both be hung at the same height about 3-4 inches above the window if possible. Cheers great space!
