Just moved into our first apartment and this is what we have so far as for furniture and decor (rug only lol). (Don’t mind the big box of shoes and my don’t pen lol. But I want to see if I can incorporate this blue recliner chair I like so much into our color choices we already have.. they don’t made it in “avocado green” like our new couch, even though it’s the same line of furniture…kinda dumb but what do yall think? Yay or nay? Fabric or faux leather (couch is fabric) Or what can we change to make it work if needed! (It’s a 1 bed 1 bath so we have to make do with my PC setup in the living room lol)

I like it. The color difference doesn’t bother me, but I don’t need to be matchy – matchy. I would get it in pleather, especially since you have a dog and pee pads…

I will say you should move your rug all the way to your console rather than having part of it under your couch, Rug from edge of couch to edge of console is better
I don’t need things to match, but I think the fact that the chair and 5he sofa are close but not the same might bother me. I’d go with a leatherette option if they have one in a brown tone that would suit. Probably wouldn’t do black. It might be too harsh.
