Sometimes it's nice to have help in the kitchen but seriously it's my sanctuary and I'd prefer to just do it all myself lol. I have had to learn to allow people to help but in my head where they can't hear I'm like just go, get the f out of my kitchen. It's funny though when my granddaughter was here one day and I was making homemade perogies she was in there helping like a dirty shirt. She loved it and I let her make a bit of a mess but it was cool lol.
Hi Michelle, I just want to mention, in a nice way, that Sherry is a very strong flavor and the 2 Tbs. you put in that pot was not much at all, and I'm sure the alcohol was gone when you tasted it. Sherry has a strong nutty flavor and I personally don't care for it and don't use it to cook with. So no worries, that the alcohol was cooked out but the Sherry flavor remains. Karla in Cali.

It’s so nice to see you both back, smoking, and with more energy. I know all those trips to Bruce’s treatment had really worn you both out! I have to tell you something funny. Yesterday we ate some of the best bbq ribs I’ve ever eaten. My first thought to myself was, I wish I knew how to make good ribs. My very next thought was, I bet Michelle knows how to make them! 😂

My favourite soup. Lots of SWISS cheese and the garlic croutons soaked in onion broth with tons of sauteed onions. YUMMY.
