Predominantly Sangiovese, with the remaining Cabernet Sauvignon (not sure the percentages).
Nose is quite nice, quite fruity. Gives a little bit of notes of stewed fruit. Chery, Raspberry, some plum maybe. Got some spice 🔥.
Getting some cooking spices. Not the typical ones I'm used to. I think it's tumeric (as I move my nose back and forth between our tumeric shaker and the glass of wine 🤣)
Medium plus body, nice length. Acidity isnt too overwhelming, but definetly better with food. Went pretty well with chicken tacos with chunky salsa.
More red fruit. Good finish length. This is really hitting above it's ~25$ pricepoint. I haven't had many Toscana Sangiovese blends, but this one was great, and I really want to keep trying them.
