I have grey tile floors, I know they are a hated trend, but I like them, they don't look dirty all the time, are easy to clean, and I really like the stone pattern on them. But they do make the space feel boring and cold. At first I added a normal rug to my living room to anchor it and make it less meh. But with two dogs and a toddler, the cleaning of it became a hassle. Recently I had a plumbing issue and parts of the floor had to be removed to change some piping, so I decided, since I already had to pay for the labour, that it was the perfect time to add this ceramic tile "rug" to the living room. What are your thoughts on it? What else would you add or remove from my space?
