I'm thinking of doing a cushion seat by the window, sadly that box by the window can't be removed because the stairs are hidden in there. Any ideas of what to do with the sloped side?
It really depends on your budget, but I would build some cabinets into that space and use it for seasonal storage. Thats what I plan to do with the awkward nook under the stairs in my kitchen

I like the idea of a big fluffy cushion on that box since you can’t remove it. Love the color of the room. Why do you have to do anything with the sloped ceiling? Put a picture on the flat side and call it a day.

Have something built! Continue the window seat around the corner & under the window. Then have either cabinet with doors or shelves built in under the slope. It would make the stair box look less obtrusive & more intentional & eliminate the need for furniture. Could house a TV, extra storage, even a few open cubbies/ shelves for books or accessories. Definitely have cushions made 👍🏻
