We moved in a little while ago and we’re still not sure what color curtains we should go with. Originally we were thinking black or a tan. I’m thinking of trying to match with this carpet that we got recently and maybe doing a dark green. Any input would be appreciated.
Side note we have absolutely no clue what to do with the armchair with the flowers on it. We wanted to do a cover but we also don’t know what color to go for.

I’d skip black curtains since they’ll feel too heavy in this light room. A warm neutral like tan or soft taupe will look clean and match the rug nicely, or you could go with a muted/dusty green for a bit more style without overpowering the space. Try holding fabric samples next to the rug and sofa before choosing, and hang the curtains a bit higher and wider to make the room feel bigger. For the floral chair, a simple solid cover in a neutral or soft green will help it blend in better.
There are blinds. Do you need curtains?
Navy Blue will do well with everything else in the room.
