After a couple of years in our house, I’m still stuck on how best to layout our narrow living room. We’re currently using free furniture from friends, and I feel like I need to nail down an ideal layout before investing in a new couch, tv stand, etc. I’d like enough seating for 3-4 people to sit comfortably without being shoulder to shoulder on one couch. Thea front door/landing being diagonal from the dining room entry makes it difficult to find a good “flow”. I’ve even looked at listings for home similar to mine, but the layouts are overly-staged and don’t make sense for an actual home.
