My first encounter with Coche Dury, coming from a strong preference for the tension and linearity of PYCM. And this is stuff of legends
This is a very different expression than PYCM, showing marked reduction on opening and far more weight than expected from Aligoté. The palate is broad, dense and almost Meursault like, but more restrained.
Loved the reductive nature, the slate and control.
Amazing first run in with CD. Sadly, prices are at a point that I expect drinking this will be few and far apart

The pricing is becoming absolutely mental but at least you got to experience why everyone makes such fuss about them.
