Wow. Okay. Different than I expected. Typically when I think of Langhe Nebbiolo, a few thoughts come to mind: full, tannic, dark fruits. This was much the opposite, even the color is more opaque. The nose was soft and fruity. Red currents, pomegranate, and subtle notes of leafy earthy notes. The palate was subtle and soft. Much of the same notes as the nose. Tannins were prevalent, but very restrained and integrated. This drank closer to a Bourgogne rouge than a Langhe Nebbiolo. Crazy good stuff. 9/10
