currently living in Hong Kong for work. we're expecting our first child in 6 months, so we've had to move from our beloved fairly new apartment to a 70 year old walk colonial walk up.
the place is fairly nice….but the bathroom is awful. I'm currently replacing all the caulk and getting years of stains out, so it's starting to look better but it has zero personality.
Ita a rental so can't change the tiles or flooring etc, so is there anything I can do o make it look more homely? plants, decorations etc. I just want it to be a nice space for the wifey

First, moving the toilet brush will help. 😉
But honestly, some bright, colorful, plush bath mats and towels will make a big difference. It’s a nice room with potential! I just needs some pops of color. Personally, I’d choose shades of teal/blue; but I’m partial to bright blues with shades of grey.
First things first, swap out the bulbs in the light for something warmer and softer. After giving birth, your wife will want nicer, less harsh lighting. She will thank you for it, trust me.
Find a warmer color palette ( see inspo ) and buy towels, face washers, a laundry hamper and some wall art to incorporate that warmth
