How can I make this guest room better? Thinking of spray painting the bases of the lamps bronze and I think I need different bedding but unsure color/style
I think you should lean hard into the dark and moody vibes, which means getting rid of all the white (side tables, pillows, hide the sheets under the covers, etc). The blue of your bedding (cold color) also clashes with the green on your walls (warm color).
Can you paint your side tables and same color as your walls?
Alternatively you can go for a more natural feel (matching your headboard), and instead look for different bedding in a warm beige color or dusty clay.

If you want to change the bedding to go with the warm color, the rug should also be changed out.
Personally, I’m more of a cool color person, so I’d keep the rug and bedding and change the wall color, even though it’s a nice color.
I think the lamp bases are a bit skimpy looking here, I’d like taller and beefier lamps. But, if the lamps are staying, the warmer bronze base would look better.

Choose open and airy or dark and moody. You’re stuck in between.
This looks really nice the way it is. The bedding is beautiful, the colors are harmonious, and the space looks welcoming and comfortable. I’d suggest a phone charger and a place to put an open suitcase to make it easy for guests to use.
