Currently redoing my son's room and I’m stuck between two chest. I’m thinking about put the chest against the wall next to the bed. I posted a photo of how the room looks now, plus two mockups I made to see how each option fits (modified by AI).
A: 5-drawer chest
Less storage space but it doesn't take up much space. I may add a small standing rack next to it for his jackets and stuff.
B: 6-drawer dresser
Way more storage. My son can just hiding everything in drawers to keep the room looking clean and organized. Im just worried that it may be too large for the corner.
Which option do you think fits better?

I prefer the look of the 6 drawer. Measure it out to make sure it’s not too big if you haven’t yet
6. 5 looks like a college dorm room and the clothes will rarely look neat and color coordinated with the room like that.
