I’ve been wanting to try this for a while now, a recent addition to the Les Horees lineup.

95% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Blanc from a vineyard planted in 2015, worked by the domain since 2022. Pressed whole cluster. Fermentation and aging for 10 months in 228L and 500L barrels, SO2 added after malolactic.

    ##Tasting Note:
Wet stone, salinity, white peach, citrus, yeasty note, medium plus acidity, and a medium long finish.

More natural in style than the Aligoté, the yeastiness is stronger in this cuvée. Already drinkable and super enjoyable. I do find value to be quite difficult with Les Horees since they are not the most complex, though I also do like that they have such drinkability from the get go. I do still prefer their Aligoté, i would not buy this again for the price.

    Value: €100
