Third time having this wine in the past year and I continue to enjoy it.

Gave it a decant and drank over two hours.

Enjoyed with Indian food at Kanyakumari in NYC.

Red cherry, blueberry, red plum, rosemary notes, maybe some slight grapefruit and tomato leaf.

The acidity in this stood up well to our dinner, especially the masala dosa and vada pav.

Interestingly, I recently paired a 2017 Ulysses with masala dosa at Kanyakumari and that pairing worked well too. Perhaps, some more savory red wines pair well with dosa.

I know this wine gets a lot of questions around QPR, but having got this bottle for $49, it's a great deal for me!

BTW, Kanyakumari is one of my favorite new restaurants in NYC, definitely recommend it.
