Hey everyone,
I just feel like my house isn’t really coming together. My bedroom, in particular, feels like a bunch of different furniture thrown together, and I was hoping this artwork above the bed might help pull it all together, but I’m not sure.
Here’s what I’m wondering:
• Should I go with the two portrait pieces above the bed, or just one landscape piece?
• Or should I ditch this art entirely and look for something else?
• I also need to change my bedside tables, any thoughts on what would look good with my style?
For reference, my cupboards opposite the bed are glossy white Ikea (or possibly mirrored). I’d love any suggestions to make this space feel more cohesive without overcomplicating things.
Thanks in advance!

OP here, pls ignore the state of the room. I’m usually much more tidy.
Big art. BIG. You can get measure the wall and Google the size you need for that wall. I would change curtains to floor to ceiling and use rings to hang them. I prefer a two inch puddle of curtains on the floor but some people prefer them to touch the floor. When you measure for curtains the rings add almost two inches to the length so keep that in mind. I didn’t and had to return my curtains for a shorter length. I would also add color. Put it in the pillows on your bed and a throw. Your neutrals will accommodate most colors so find color that brings you joy. Be thoughtful in the art and decor. Take your time and find what you want in your space. We have created some of our own art using chatgpt and created art of our cats with colors that work in my home. I’m the cat lady I guess 😅
Just say no to curtain capris! The shorties are giving motel 6 vibes. Full length, hung from the ceiling ideally, looks best and polished.
