What color should we paint our bathroom?

Hello, lovely people.

As the subject line says, I need advice on what to paint our bathroom.

The room is currently Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore. With our lighting, it looks a little greener in person than it does in this picture, which I don’t love.

Do I look for another blue without the green undertones — or maybe something altogether warmer or neutral? It needs to look good under artificial lights as there no window.

We live near a Benjamin Moore store and would probably go with that brand.

    What color towels do you have? Is there any wall art? If so what colors are in it/them?

    You want to identify the undertones in your tiles.

    Do the surround and floor have the same undertone? If so, then look for a paint with that undertone too. So if both have a green undertone, then go with a blue with green undertone or a yellow with green undertone if you want color, or a grey or white with green undertone for a neutral look.

    IF the undertones are different, then you want to decide what you want to stand out. So if the surround has a pink undertone and the floor has a yellow undertone and you want the floor to stand out, then choose a white wall color with a pink undertone. If you want the surround to stand out, then choose a grey wall color with a yellow undertone.

    With all the white and glass, I’m thinking a sharp contrast with something like navy blue. Then have some other nautical elements like gold.

    I think the consideration you need to make is what you want the bathroom to do for you. Do you need something bright and energetic to start your day, or do you need something calming and serene to close out your day. I’d start from a place of how you want this space to serve you and then choose your color that way.

    A swamp color would be gorgeous.
