New to vaulted ceilings. As I sit here, finishing Shitt’s Creek and starting Shrinking, I wonder about a wide, chunky shelf above it at 9’-10’. But then I remember I saw that in a restaurant and am not so sure…the cat, Walter, is no help!

Maybe a mirror above the shelf too if there’s room, opens the space
I have floating shelves above my tv and I love the look, personally. It makes the wall look more cozy and cohesive with the rest of the place imo.
