Just built this shelving unit in my dining room. I need to finish painting still but was looking for some suggestions for how to decorate it so it is useful, while still aesthetically pleasing (Note : there are two notches cut out on the right side to run a cord to the outlet for a lamp in the middle shelf). I am also looking to replace the shelves on the left side with something else, so any suggestions there are appreciated as well. Thanks!

You can easily store clothes etc on shelves or some nice baskets for other stuff. You’d fit a lot in there
