I’ve had this stored for a while and thought it was time. Quite disappointing on the first nose as there was barely any fruit to discern. There was lots of oak and forest floor smells though and it had a great, heady nose. It’s a big, thick wine you almost have to chew (reminds me of a rough Romanian(?) wine called Bull’s Blood from back in the day). Great finish too.
It said on the label that it’d be good cellared for ’10 years or more’ and I wonder how they know that.

**EDIT: It’s Sandalford, not Sandal**.
