Working on a residential interior design project and this is the latest render for the main living area. The concept is warm minimalism — trying to balance the heaviness of the full-wall wood paneling with the lightness of the Carrara marble flooring.

A few design decisions I’d love feedback on:

The TV is recessed and framed directly into the wood panel to keep it flush and seamless rather than having it float on a mount. The subtle brass inlay strip running horizontally across the wall ties into the frame detail without being too loud.

Seating is a modular textured sofa in a grey-beige weave flanked by two curved cream accent chairs — wanted the furniture to feel soft against the hard surfaces of the wood and stone.

The small pedestal side table in the center is intentionally minimal, just enough surface for a coffee and a book without cluttering the sightline.

Still debating a few things — whether the TV feels too small for the wall, whether the room needs a rug to break up the marble, and whether to add any greenery or keep it completely clean.

The TV being stationary like that is a terrible idea that limits your ability to rearrange the furniture. It’s also not at a watchable angle or height. I’m not a fan of minimalist interior decor so I dislike your plan. The marble floor does not look good with the wood paneling or any of the decor. The couch looks horribly uncomfortable.
