This is the current release from The Produttori of their mixedish regional langhe Nebbiolo. I’m not well versed in this grape because I’m bougie and I don’t like tanin. I consider pinot to be a scaled down version of god and nebbiolo to be a rock you stub your toe on. I am wrong. About many things. But this being a gorgeous bottle is not one of them. It starts with dried cherries and thyme and then earth comes out followed by about ten minutes of cocoa (the fruity part of cocoa not the dusty part) and then it settls back into dried earthy cherries. I’m about and hour and a half in and I’ll update if needed. Great great acidity. I’ve paid a hell of a lot more for worse burg. $35 worth the money.
