Beautiful Chardonnay from Nagano. I’ve been working around Japanese wines for a while now, but really only recently have I started to try the hard to get bottles.
This Chardonnay easily stands with top burgundies. I spent about an hour just smelling the wine and taking an occasional sip.
Tasting notes: light oak, slight citrus, oats (common with Nagano), yeast.
