Hey all, looking for some advice on a layout decision in my sitting room.
I’ve got a wall-mounted TV centred within some panel moulding, and I want to add a TV unit underneath to hide the sockets and clean up the look. The plan is to bring the TV slightly lower so everything feels more cohesive with the unit.
The challenge is on the right side, there’s a door that opens inward. It doesn’t hit the wall or where the unit would go, but when walking through, the clearance could feel tight if the unit sticks out too much. I’m worried it might be uncomfortable or easy to bump into the corner.
Ideally need a unit around 160cm length and depth less than 30cm or should I get a grounded unit and shift it all the way the left side of the wall? Or just not bother at all lol?
