I might have opened this a bit too soon as it’s still quite young. First glass was straight from the fridge and again, drank too soon as the fruit didn’t come through. Great malolactic nose and a nice flinty edge. Fruit definitely came through later. Tasted a bit thin when for some reason I was expecting a more oily taste.
It was about $40 NZ and I think worth it. I’ve had decent bottles before around that price and this isn’t quite up to them but it’s still what I call a classy drop.
