
With the Scharzhofberger Riesling we ate:
– Langoustine paired with tomato and a touch of baharat.
– Poached river knightfish with kohlrabi, cherry leaf notes, and salty sea banana.
– Winter skrei cod wrapped with pata negra and a white kombu sauce.
The Ladoix 1er Cru was paired with:
– Crisp veal sweetbread and slow-braised veal cheek served with carrot and tarragon.
– Tender roe doe with cherries and red beetroot.

Appearance: Pale lemon
Nose: Med+ intensity; lime, green apple, white peach, slate; youthful
Palate: Dry; high acid; med alcohol; med body; med+ flavour intensity; citrus, stone fruit, slate; long finish
Quality: Very good–outstanding
Ladoix 1er Cru:
Appearance: Medium ruby, no signs of aging yet(!)
Nose: Med+ intensity; red cherry, cranberry, earth, dried florals; developing
Palate: Dry; high acid; med tannin; med alcohol; med body; med+ flavour intensity; red fruit, earth; long finish.
Quality: Very good
