I tasted this wine long before when Greek wine was still rare to find, nowadays the movement is growing in all aspects and more sizable wineries exist, able to supply also some foreign markets!
Santorini and its Assyrtiko are the symbols of Greek wine, Sigalas being the pioneer in Santorini!
Great finesse, complexity with citrusy fruit, floral notes, trademark minerality given by the volcanic soil and its saltiness! It is different from other volcanic wines, indeed on its own!
